If for any reason the scheme cannot be completed or if there are surplus funds remaining after the scheme is complete, the funds will be used for the purpose of restoring the tower, clock, and bells to the extent possible and/or their subsequent maintenance. Donors who under these circumstances would wish their funds to be returned, should provide notification of this and their contact details when making a donation.
