Church Hire
St Paul's is the town centre church for Bedford and is an important and much admired landmark building of Bedford. We host a wide range of events throughout the year, including concerts of all genres, dinners, discos (including of the silent type!), exhibitions, workshops, craft markets and more.

We have several spaces and rooms of different sizes depending on your needs. The church has two kitchen areas including a fully fitted commercial kitchen, wi-fi throughout the building, washroooms and free car-parking spaces on site.

The Nave
A large and beautiful space, dating originally to the 1500's with later Victorian additions. With seating in place the Nave area can accommodate 200 people while an additional 125 can be seated in the upstairs balcony. Extra seating can be also be supplied to make a total capacity of around 400.

The seating in the Nave can be removed completely to provide an event "blank canvas" for craft markets and clothes fairs or evening functions such as dinners or dances. ​The Dais at the head of the Nave provides useful staging area for concerts and other performances. The main church space also benefits from multiple lighting options, quality acoustics and a comprehensive sound system.
The Alexander Room
The Alexander Room measures 26ft x 16ft and can be used for meetings or dining with tables in various configurations. It can accommodate up to 30 people for seated dining and for training sessions or workshops. The room benefits from immediate access to a fully fitted commercial kitchen and has its own access independent of the main church.
The Anderson Room
The Anderson Room measures 15ft x 17ft and is a fully carpeted area which can be used for a variety of purposes including group meetings and presentations, toddler and play groups or serving of light refreshments. The room looks out onto the main church and has immediate access to a small kitchen.
