Tower Clock and Bells Project - Faculty Notice

We are at the stage of the Tower Clock and Bells Project where we are applying for a formal Faculty (planning permission) from the Diocese to carry out the work.

In summary, we are applying to the Consistory Court of the diocese for permission to carry out the following: Restoration of the tower, clock, and bells. Rehanging of the bells in a 14-bell frame on one level lower in the tower, restoration, relocation, and improvements to the clock and chiming mechanism, installation of sound control, and major reordering of the ringing chamber, including safer access to upper levels of the tower.
