Churchyard working party

On Saturday 6th September, an enthusiastic bunch of ten volunteers spent the afternoon weeding, pruning, sweeping, raking, scraping, hauling and lifting to beautify our churchyard. Thank you all of you for your hard work, and thank you especially for those who organised the day.

Our churchyard is one of the few areas of green space in the town centre and we hope it serves as a resource to the people of Bedford. Although the borough council do much of the day to day tidying up, it requires the hard work of dedicated volunteers to keep it looking good.
