Lunchtime Recital: Nia Williams, cello

We are delighted to welcome Welsh cellist Nia Williams, a graduate of the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, where she completed both her undergraduate and Master's studies, graduating with Distinction in 2025. During her time at Guildhall, Nia performed alongside the London Symphony Orchestra and London Mozart Players, and served as Principal Cello of both the Opera and Chamber Orchestras. Since completing her studies, Nia has been a member of the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra Emerging Musicians' Fellowship and the Orpheus Sinfonia Foundation Programme, while building a busy freelance career. Recent appearances have included a national tour of The Marriage of Figaro with Wild Arts Opera, performances with Sinfonia Cymru, and a broadcast on BBC Radio 3's In Tune. An accomplished chamber musician and rising orchestral performer, Nia brings a wealth of experience and artistry to the final recital of the season.
